That little box so plain and simple
Its smell of cedar is oh so fine
It will stay embedded within my mind
Throughout all the rest of time
Grandmas hankies are inside
I know they came from far and wide
They were given to me by my Dad
Soon after she had died
I miss her to this very day
She cared for me in her special way
She went on to her final rest
I love her so, she was the best
I wish she knew me now
I know she sees from up above
That little box so plain and simple
It fits my heart just like a glove
Sometimes I sit upon my bed
And hold those hankies to my nose
Oh, that sweet smell of cedar
So much better than any rose
