Marianne and Scott Celebrate their first year They exchanged their vows We all watched and cheered They slid on their rings What a beautiful show They united together To have and to hold My daughter became A most beautiful wife She gave me a son For the rest of my life She took this gentle Southern man She vowed to love him And hold his hand He took my baby And my two grandsons He vowed to love them Till his life was done.
