To Ralph...
My Loving Husband
When I think of how I love you

I put lots of things aside

All the little picky stuff

I have to forget it all in stride

I go down to the nitty gritty

Down to the very barest bones

Down to the very roots of my love

Where it ever so freely roams

Way down deep inside me

Where I feel just like a star

Where honesty, trust, and compassion

Are never ever barred

I'm free to be me in every way

No pretending can ever be found.

My heart sits on a merry-go-round

And spins round, and round, and round

It yells out loud and clearly

Bells ringing all over town

You take me exactly as I am

On nothing you ever frown

I hope I'm not being selfish

Thinking only just of me

I want the whole world to see you

Your're the best there ever could be
