Daughters are special people
Lots of things rolled into one
Great big balls or pleasure
Just loads and tons of fun

However, it goes much deeper
She becomes your very best friend
You see parts of yourself in her
And on her you can truely depend

She knows when you don't feel good
Mom are you all right
She knows when you have a problem
She sees it with her sight

She knows when you are blue
She makes you crack a smile
She knows when you don't want to talk
She gives you a break for a while

She knows just what you like
She protects you all the time
If she sees something  you don't like
She shapes things back in line

If you are upset it's all right
She treats you like her best friend
She asks if she can help
She listens to the bitter end

But still, it goes even further
She begins to teach "you" things
You stand in awe and amazement
At this tremendous joy she brings

You have long talks together
Her pride and wisdom show
You know how proud you are
The road was long and sometimes slow

She goes beyond when she
Was your bundle of joy
To this wonderfully magical friend
She is your shinning image
Forever till the very end
